After School Clubs
At Grayrigg we are dedicated to ensuring the children have opportunities to participate in a range of activities. Grayrigg is a small village and the only local sports club available to children is table tennis. Therefore, school have planned a range of free after school clubs to provide children with a range of physical sporting activities.
How does After School Club work?
School finishes at 3.15pm, from 3.15 – 3.30pm school staff will prepare children for After School Club.
3.30-4.30pm: Children can participate in a free after school activity available to specific year groups.
3.30-5.30pm: If you require additional after school care, this is available at a cost of £4 per hour.
Breakfast Club is available every morning from 8 -8.30am at a cost of £4 including cereal or toast.
What activities are on offer?
Monday: Oaks Brewery Dance Club (Y2 upwards)
Every Monday, Ashley leads dance club after school for children in year 2 to year 6, ending the year with a performance for parents. She keeps it interesting by changing the focus each half term
Tuesday: Tiny Acorns & Acorns Brewery Dance Club (Reception & Y1)
Every Tuesday, Ashley leads dance club after school for children in Nursery to year 2, ending the year with a performance for parents. She keeps it interesting by changing the focus each half term.
Wednesday: Coach Kaye’s Sports club (Y3 to Y5) and Year 6 Club (Y6 only)
Every Wednesday Coach Kaye leads sports club after school for children in year 3 to year 5, whilst Mrs Cooper hosts the year 6 club.
Thursday: Tiny Acorns & Acorns Sports Club (Nursery to Y2)
Every Thursday, Miss Hayton runs a multi-skills club for the children in Nursery to year 2. She works with those attending, adapting the club to suit the children.
Friday: No club - after school care only.
